Amanda Milhet-Russo

Amanda Milhet-Russo is a director and tax counsel at BlackRock. She advises on all tax matters for ETFs, mutual funds, collective trust funds and tax-managed private wealth accounts, with particular focus on the taxation of digital assets. Previously, Amanda supported BlackRock’s private markets business, providing tax advice to the firm’s private equity and hedge fund of funds businesses. Before joining BlackRock, Amanda was a tax associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Willkie, Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. At both firms, she advised clients on public and private M&A transactions, debt offerings, private fund formations, and regulated investment company compliance. Amanda earned her J.D. from Georgetown University and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
