
Alison Morpurgo
Managing Director, JP Morgan Chase
Alison Morpurgo is a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase, where she serves as General Counsel of JP Morgan Wealth Management. In this capacity, she leads a team of attorneys who advise four primary channels across a broad range of wealth management products and services: JP Morgan Advisors, Chase Wealth Management, Self-Directed Investing (online investing), and National Branch.
Prior to this role, Alison spent 24 years at UBS, including roles as Managing Director and Global Head of Cross-Border Legal, Head of Legal for Private Wealth Management and Head of Legal for UBS International, Inc. Prior to that she managed the anti-money laundering department and served as the AML/BSA Officer for UBS International, Inc.
Alison is a dedicated mentor and was the Executive Sponsor and Chair of the Pro Bono Committee at UBS, and she continues her pro bono work at JP Morgan. Alison values the opportunity to work with those seeking legal asylum, with Veterans, students and aspiring business owners from underserved communities, among other work, and she is certified in Mental Health First Aid at Work. Alison is on the Board of the City Bar Fund which supports the Pro Bono arm of the NYC Bar Association and serves on the Board of 360 Academic Sports Academy, which supports students in underserved communities through tutoring and sports coaching. Alison has spoken at industry conferences including the FINRA Institute at Wharton, SIFMA Compliance & Legal Seminar and Financial Crimes, and others and has worked with the SEC to train foreign regulators.
Alison earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was President of the Moot Court Board.
