Alina Kirzner

Alina Kirzner is based in Boston in Brown Brothers Harriman’s Global Tax Services group. In her role, she oversees tax issues that impact portfolio investors across a wide range of investment vehicles in close to 100 markets. Alina joined Brown Brothers Harriman in 2006 from EY where she was member of the International Tax Services team.

Alina received an LLM in Taxation from Boston University School of Law and a JD from Suffolk University Law School. Alina also holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Brandeis University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

Alina is involved in the taxation committees of various industry groups including, Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) (co-chair of Corporate Action International Tax Committee), Association of Global Custodians (AGC) (former co-chair of the Tax Committee), and the Investment Company Institute (ICI).
