Alejandro de la Campa

Alejandro de la Campa is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Derivatives Sales in the Americas at Barclays.
Based in New York, Mr. de la Campa has a combined 25 years of investment banking, sales management and sales trading experience. In his current role, he manages a high performing derivative sales team where he is also an individual contributor. Additionally, he is responsible for developing Barclays’ client base for equity, volatility and cross-asset products in the US across the equity derivative continuum (Flow listed products, ETFs, OTC, Flex, Light-exotics, Quantitative Investment Strategies, Structured Solutions and Fund Financing). His team covers multiple institutional client types, including Macro/Equity/Credit Hedge Funds, Asset/Investment Managers, Family Offices and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Mr. de la Campa joined Barclays in 2008 following the MBA Associate Summer Program. Prior to that, he was a Corporate Sales Manager at Ferrari North America, the manufacturer’s North American Headquarters. Alejandro started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers within the Debt Capital Markets team covering Telecom and Media companies.
Mr. de la Campa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from New York University – Stern School of Business.
