Adil Imani

Adil Imani is a director on the insurance-linked securities team at Verisk’s Extreme Event Solutions. He has been a part of the ILS team since 2013, and has worked closely with national carriers, new entrants, sovereign entities and other sponsors. During his tenure he has directly participated in over 100 new catastrophe bond issuances and overseen many more.  

He leads the securitization team, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team as well as ensuring that we remain a trusted partner in this space. The team facilitates the transfer of risk by insurers, reinsurers, and governments to the capital markets, by ​producing bespoke risk analytics and supporting the marketing process for catastrophe bonds. He holds a BA in economics and applied mathematics from Macalester College, and has achieved the designation of Certified Extreme Event Modeler by completing the requirements of Verisk’s Certified Extreme Event Modeler Program.
