Washington, D.C., December 19, 2018 – SIFMA today announced that Jamie Wall has been appointed as executive vice president, Advocacy.  In this capacity, she will be SIFMA’s senior government affairs officer and lead SIFMA’s advocacy efforts.

“I am very excited to have Jamie join our team.  Having worked with her, and given her substantial financial services policy and advocacy experience, Jamie will be of great benefit to SIFMA’s members,” said Kenneth E. Bentsen, Jr., president and CEO of SIFMA.

Joseph Seidel, chief operating officer of SIFMA, added, “Jamie brings significant Capitol Hill experience and industry knowledge to SIFMA.  Her skills will be a welcome addition to SIFMA’s policy and advocacy efforts to promote capital formation and efficient capital markets.”

Ms. Wall joins SIFMA from Subject Matter where she advised a variety of clients, including a number of SIFMA member firms, on legislative, regulatory and political advocacy efforts.  While at Subject Matter, Ms. Wall also engaged various Administration and cabinet agency officials in pursuit of client goals.
