SIFMA provides comments to the Federal Reserve System on its proposed rules to establish single-counterparty credit limits for large bank holding companies and designated nonbank financial companies, as required by Section 165(e) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. This would limit the effects that the failure of any one firm could have on the industry.
