Course Description

In this session we will introduce a scenario-based methodology for strategic planning under conditions of high uncertainty.  Topics covered will include:
  • Why great companies fail and how successful firms respond to change
  • The value of optionality and peripheral vision
  • The need for challenging old mental models
  • Capturing strategic uncertainty through scenarios
  • Choosing the right battles through strategic segmentation; and
  • Developing a strategic vision from robust, flexible capabilities.
