SIFMA Partners with Texas Southern University on Diverse Talent Pipeline Resource: SIFMA Invest!

Washington, D.C., April 14, 2021 —Today, SIFMA and Texas Southern University (TSU) announced the inaugural launch SIFMA Invest! The SIFMA Invest! program and virtual platform offers students enrolled at TSU a myriad of educational, industry research and career development opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in financial services.

Bentsen Jr., SIFMA president & CEO. “Working with the leadership at TSU, we are excited to launch this new platform that we believe will enhance outreach to a more diverse group of college students, provide better connectivity to financial services sector and the potential career opportunities it has to offer.”

SIFMA Invest! provides students new and fresh educational resources, opportunities to study for and take the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, connect with SIFMA member firms and offers resume assistance. Not only is this a platform to connect students with the capital markets industry, it connects students with other students at their institution of higher education interested in financial services through virtual events, webinars and student forums. In addition to TSU, SIFMA is working with several other Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions for similar launches.
