Steven Watts

Steven Watts is an Executive Director for the Position Services Group, a division of the Shared Services and Banking Operations organization at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Watts has global responsibility for the distribution of Corporate Action data, and regional responsibility for the management of Dividend, Mandatory Corporate Action and Proxy Voting processes across the Firm.

Mr. Watts joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 and in his time at the Firm has worked in offices across all regions. Having started his career in London, he spent time in Asia (Sydney and Shanghai) and is now the Location Head for Position Services in the Morgan Stanley Baltimore office. Mr. Watts is a current board member of the Corporate Actions Section within Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) Operations and Technology Society, and chair of the SIFMA Proxy Voting Committee.

Mr. Watts has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Leeds and is a current holder of a Series 99 license.
