Stacie Owens

Stacie Owens currently serves as the Head of Associate Relations at Edward Jones.  She joined Edward Jones in 2015 as an associate general counsel on the Employment and Benefits team in the Legal division. The following year, she was asked to provide primary legal support for the firm’s response to the Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule. In 2017, she was named the leader of the Legal division’s Firm Priorities team, which works with all areas of the firm to provide legal support for the conception, design, execution and adoption of the firm’s key strategies and initiatives. She was named an Edward Jones principal and Senior Associate General Counsel in 2020.  In March 2021, Stacie was named the Head of Associate Relations in the Human Resource division.

Before joining the firm, Stacie was deputy general counsel at Stifel Financial, where she led global employment legal support. Prior to that, she was a partner with a St. Louis law firm, where she was an employment and business litigator and counselor.

Stacie earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Drury University in Springfield, Mo., and her juris doctorate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.

Stacie serves on the Executive Leadership Team of the American Heart Association Go Red for Women.  She was a founding member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Compliance and Legal Society Future Leaders Committee and a founding member of the Edward Jones Legal division’s Team Red women’s group.  In addition, she is an alumna of Missouri Chamber of Commerce Leadership Missouri.
