Satish M. Kini

Satish Kini is Co-Chair of the Debevoise & Plimpton Banking Group, based in Washington, D.C.  He advises securities firms, banks, investment advisers and others on a broad range of money laundering and sanctions matters, including in enforcement and adverse examination contexts.

Chambers Global and Chambers USA have repeatedly recognized Satish as a leading lawyer.  He also is recognized by The Legal 500 US.  Earlier in his career, Satish was Counsel in the Legal Division of the Federal Reserve Board.

Satish received his B.A. magna cum laude from Colgate University and his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Stone Scholar, an Olin Fellow in Law and Economics and the Managing Editor of the Columbia Law Review. Satish clerked for Judge Richard Cardamone, U.S. Court of Appeals — Second Circuit.
