Matthew Danton

Matthew Danton is the Head of Equities Legal Americas at Barclays where he manages legal coverage for both cash equities and equity derivatives.  Mr. Danton is also involved with Barclays’ response to Dodd-Frank and other regulatory reforms.

Previously, Mr. Danton was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and, following that, worked as an attorney at Lehman Brothers covering equity derivatives.

Mr. Danton holds a B.A. in Philosophy and American History from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
