Laura Slagle
Laura Slagle is the Director of TD Ameritrade’s Retail and Active Trader Compliance team which is responsible for delivering regulatory and compliance advice and guidance to TD Ameritrade Inc.’s Retail and Active Trader business units and TD Ameritrade Futures and Forex, LLC entity. Her team strengthens the Company’s culture of compliance by increasing regulatory and compliance awareness, advising business partners on applicable regulatory requirements, creating policies, procedures and training and supporting business partners in the creation and deployment of new products and service offerings.
Most recently, Ms. Slagle was responsible for the implementation of key books and records process improvements and best practices as well as the lead compliance person supporting TD Ameritrade’s digitization efforts and the delivery of new technology applications including voice assistant applications (Alexa Skills and Google Assistant), Digital Wallet (Apple Pay) funding and automated agents in Facebook, Twitter, WeChat and Apple Business Chat.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
