Kapil Mathur

Kapil Mathur (Sugar Land Branch Manager) is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley.  He joined Morgan Stanley in 2010. He serves as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of The Math Group, a team of nine professionals that serves leading families throughout the United States.  Mr. Mathur is a Senior Portfolio Management Director and Financial Advisor, and is Co-Chair of the Firm’s 2,500+ member Multicultural Employee Networking Group.   Mr. Mathur is a member of Morgan Stanley’s Chairman’s Club and is a perennial member of the Forbes Best in State Financial Advisor list.

Previously, Mr. Mathur was an investment banker, private equity investor, and consultant.   He was with McKinsey & Company in Houston, Dell Corporate Strategy, and MSD Capital’s Private Equity group. He holds a B.B.A in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  Mr. Mathur is a member of the Board of Directors of Magic Bus USA and the Cullinan Park Conservancy.   He serves as President of Magic Bus Houston and is a Past President of the Harvard Business School Club of Houston.
