John O’Day

Director, Global Asset Services Bank of America

John O’Day is a Director within Global Asset Services at Bank of America. He is currently the lead of a multi-year strategic Asset Servicing program introducing automation and streamlined workflow across all aspects of Global Asset Services. He is responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing and implementation of all program deliverables. John is also responsible for representing Bank of America on Industry initiatives as they relate Asset Services.

Prior to his current role, John was responsible for overseeing the US based Dividends, Principal & Interest, Reorg, Class Actions and Proxy functions across the Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Wealth Management and Global Custody lines of business and associated legal entities.  Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2006, John held positions at ING Barings and ABN AMRO.

John has served as chair and co-chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) Corporate Action Forum.  He is also a member of the SIFMA Proxy Task force and the Independent Steering Committee of Broadridge.  John received his Bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.
