Jennifer Silliman

Group Supervisor, Homeland Security Investigations U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Ms. Silliman is currently a Group Supervisor for the Tampa Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Human Exploitation Group (HEG).  Ms. Silliman has a staff of ten people including six special agents, one Intelligence Research Specialist, and three Computer Forensic Analysts. Under Ms. Silliman’s leadership, the HEG works criminal investigations focusing on allegations of human smuggling and trafficking, child exploitation and cybercrimes.

Ms. Silliman started with the Immigration and Naturalization Service in 1995, and transferred to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when the agency was created in March 2003.  Since that time, Ms. Silliman has worked as a special agent in Tampa, FL and held management and leadership positions at HSI offices in Tampa, Washington D.C., San Diego, and Los Angeles.

Ms. Silliman has an undergraduate degree in sociology/criminal justice from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
