Jason P. Kelly

Jason Kelly joined Edward Jones in January of 2016 and currently serves as Associate General Counsel in the Legal Division. In this capacity, he leads the Legal division’s support of all facets of the firm’s retirement business, including managing legislative and regulatory proposals as they impact employer retirement plans as well as retail products such as IRA, Roth IRA, SEP, and SIMPLE accounts. Jason also partners with the firm’s Operations, Client Service, Products, Solutions, and Compliance divisions to assist in the development of retirement savings policy initiatives and products.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, Jason spent fourteen years practicing law in complex litigation in state and federal courts, including ERISA class-action litigation. Jason is a member of SIFMA’s Retirement and Savings Committee and Private Client Legal Committee. Jason also serves on the ACC St. Louis Chapter’s Pro Bono Committee. Jason earned his undergraduate degree from Drury University and his J.D. and M.P.H. from St. Louis University.
