James Q. Walker

Jim Walker is a partner at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP and concentrates in government investigations, commercial litigation, professional liability and legal ethics.  Mr. Walker represents companies, board committees and senior executives in investigations of potential violations of the securities laws, and law firms and lawyers in connection with professional misconduct claims.  Mr. Walker chairs the New York County Lawyer’s Association’s Committee on Professional Ethics, is a member of the Editorial Board of the ABA/BNA Lawyers’ Manual on Professional Conduct, the Law360 Legal Ethics Editorial Advisory Board, and the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Standards of Attorney Conduct (COSAC) and Committee on Professional Ethics.  He also serves on the New York City Bar’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and frequently lectures and publishes articles regarding securities law issues, technology in legal practice and professional ethics.  Jim is a 1990 graduate of Yale Law School, and a 1985 graduate of Yale College (B.S. Applied Math).
