Gerald Spada

As senior vice president, associate general counsel, and Chief Privacy Officer, Jerry Spada is responsible for the privacy program.  He is located in LPL Financial’s Fort Mill office.

Before joining LPL Financial in 2018, Jerry assessed, designed, and audited privacy programs for Deloitte, established State Street’s global privacy program, and served as UBS Financial Services’ lead privacy counsel.   He received a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School.  A member of the New York and New Jersey bars, Jerry holds a number of industry designations from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and has presented on privacy topics at ISACA, IAPP, and SIFMA conferences.
