Fred Ceraso

Fred is a Director – Tax Senior Group Manager on the Tax Information Reporting (TIR) team within Corporate Tax at Citi responsible for FATCA, IRW, CRS, & Qualified Intermediary (QI) Advisory across multiple global business lines including Consumer Banking, Treasury Transaction Services, Private Bank, & Institutional Clients Group. Prior to joining Citi, Fred was the Americas Head of Goldman Sachs’ Tax Operations Business Analysis department managing the tax regulatory and new business initiatives change management portfolio focused on Front to Back implementation of process, procedure, and system changes. He also held various management positions within Tax Operations and Asset Services at Morgan Stanley, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), & Globe Tax Services.

Fred is a member of the SIFMA Tax Compliance Committee and former co-chair of the SIFMA Corporate Actions Section Tax Sub-Committee.

Fred holds a Bachelor’s degree in History & Political Science from the State University of New York at Stonybrook and earned his Masters of Taxation at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
