Diane Simons

Diane Simons is a Managing Director and Global Head of Tax Advisory which provides tax legal coverage for Morgan Stanley’s business units and company functions.  She is President of the Wall Street Tax Association, and she is an active member of the Financial Products Committees of SIFMA,  ISDA and WSTA.   Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1998, Diane was a Tax Associate at the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP and, prior to that, a Law Clerk for the Hon. Jerome B. Simandle of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.  She received a B.A. from Brandeis University, and a J. D. and L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.   Diane resides in New York City with her husband and two daughters.
