Cory Anger

Cory is a Managing Director at GC Securities leading origination and structuring efforts within the capital markets team and has experience working on 96 144A cat bond transactions totaling $23.33B of risk capital placed (in addition to private cat bonds, collateralized reinsurance and sidecars) during her 19 years in the ILS market for insurers, reinsurers, corporates and governmental clients.

Prior to joining GC Securities in May 2008, she was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers in the Insurance Products Group where she spent 8.5 years originating and structuring insurance and hybrid capital solutions for the P&C and life insurance sectors.  Prior to Lehman Brothers, she worked in risk management at Merrill Lynch and in risk analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Cory has an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, an MS in Statistics from George Mason University and a BS in Statistics and Economics from Virginia Tech.
