Timothy G. Lyons

Timothy G. Lyons is the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Holdings (USA) Inc. where he is responsible for the firm’s US Intermediate Holding Company, and New York and Cayman Island branches.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Tim was Head of Capital Planning at Citigroup, and previously managed Citi’s Group Treasury activities, including the firm’s balance sheet, liquidity, asset-liability position, and funds transfer pricing.

Previously, Tim served as Head of Financial Planning, Strategy and Corporate Development at Morgan Stanley, and Head of Strategy, Planning and Business Development at Lehman Brothers. He started his career at McKinsey & Company where he served financial institutions.

Tim received his A.B. from Princeton University where he graduated magna cum laude, MSc from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and MBA from Harvard University where he was a Baker Scholar.
