Sheila McKinney is a Supervising Examiner in the Operational Risk Division in the Banking Supervision Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is responsible for examining the Operational Risk and Internal Controls at significantly important financial institutions and has participated in various exams including comprehensive capital analysis and review, recovery and resolution, Title I and various other exams.
Prior thereto, she was a Vice President at Alliance Bernstein with responsibility for the Finance, Risk, Corporate Functions and SOX Audit Teams. She was a Vice President and Director at Bank of New York with responsibility for financial reporting for the Tri-Party Administration business of the mutual funds and has served as the Chief Financial Officer for the BNY Hamilton Funds. She was a Senior Audit Manager in the Accounting and Business Advisory Services Group at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Prior thereto, she was a Vice President and Senior Audit Manager at Banker’s Trust and then Deutsche Bank in the Asset Management Division.
She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Trust Auditor, a Financial Services Auditor and is Certified in Risk and Information System Controls (CRISC). She is a graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business with a BS in Accounting and Marketing and MBA in Finance. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, ISACA, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Fiduciary and Investment Risk Management Association. She has held the Series 7, 63, 8, 24 and 27 licenses.
