Richard J. Franchella

Managing Director and Complex Manager, Morgan Stanley

Richard J. Franchella joined Morgan Stanley in September 2011 where he is currently a Managing Director and Complex Manager. He is responsible for thirteen branch offices across Central & Eastern Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Rich was as a Senior Managing Director of RBC Wealth Management’s Private Client Group as well as their New York Midtown Complex Director. He also spent time as branch manager for Legg Mason’s New York Complex. From 1997 to 2004, Rich served as Director of National Sales at Prudential Securities, now Wells Fargo Bank. He began his management career at PaineWebber, serving as the Branch Manager in the Yale New Haven office for three years. Following that assignment, he transitioned to the role of Advanced FA Business Development Officer within PaineWebber. Rich is a graduate of Iona College and also graduated from a 3-year sales management program at the Wharton School. He is the proud father of Ricky, Adam, Olivia, AJ, Justin, Nicholas and Luke. Rich and his wife Roberta live in Manchester, MD.
