Mary Trotman

  • Born in Detroit Michigan in 1962
  • Graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 with a B.A. in Sociology
  • Graduated from the University of Detroit Law School in 1988
  • Became an FBI Agent in 1989
    • Worked a variety of cases including, White Collar Crime, Child Pornography, Civil Rights and Public Corruption
    • Worked in Washington DC, Ohio and Kentucky
    • Moved to Kentucky in 2005
    • Served as Chief Division Counsel for the Louisville Office from 2012-2015
    • Retired in September, 2016
  • Hired by US Attorney’s Office in October 2016
    • Specifically hired to focus on the Opioid/Heroin Problem and Elder Justice Initiative
    • Also do some investigative work with the Civil Division
  • Live on a farm in Scott County with 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a very supportive husband
