Lani Chou is a Director in PwC’s Global Information Reporting practice and has over 12 years of experience in U.S. federal tax withholding and information reporting. Currently, she focuses on Automatic Exchange of Information Reporting in addition to advising various organizations on withholding and reporting issues, specifically global banks, asset managers, private equity funds, and multinational corporations headquartered both inside and outside the United States. Prior to joining PwC, she worked for a boutique law firm specializing in cross border issues and controversy and a tax technology company specializing in tax information reporting applications. She also spent a number of years advising private equity and hedge funds and supporting their financial reporting filings. Ms. Chou is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a graduate of Boston University School of Law (LLM), Suffolk University Law School (JD), and Boston College (BA).
