L. Erika Najarian

Managing Director, Head of North American Banks Equity Research, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Erika Najarian is a Managing Director and the Head of North American Banks Equity Research, overseeing a team that covers over 40 stocks at nearly $2 trillion of aggregate market cap. She is directly responsible for coverage of the largest U.S. banks, including universal banks and super-regional banks. Erika joined BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research as Senior U.S. Regional Banks Analyst in October 2010 to cover U.S. Banks.

Erika has covered banks in an investment banking or analyst capacity since 2002. Most recently, she worked as an analyst at UBS, covering Mid- and Small-Cap Banks. Prior to joining UBS, she was a member of the U.S. Banks team at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research where she led coverage of Small-Cap Banks for five years. Before her time at BofA Merrill, Erika worked as an associate in the Research departments of Advest and FTN Financial, assisting with coverage of Banks, Thrifts, and Specialty Finance companies. She began her career as part of FTN Financial’s FIG investment banking team.

Erika received her B.S. in Finance & International business magna cum laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
