Kelly Metz

As Managing Director of Operations for Wells Fargo Clearing Services, Kelly Metz leads a team of approximately 2,000 operations professionals located across the United States, India and the Philippines. These professionals provide end-to-end brokerage services to 7.4 million clients and ~15,000 financial advisors as well as 70 introducing Retail Securities firms.

Kelly joined Wells Fargo in 2000 and has served in various Operational leadership roles and brings more than 25 years of operational leadership and industry experience. Previously, Kelly also held multiple leadership positions with Piper Jaffray.

Her strong commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to business solutions, and aptitude for partnering have reshaped the role of Operations at Wells Fargo Clearing Services, resulting in great synergies across the organization.

Kelly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Training.  Kelly is a member of the SIFMA Operations and Technology Steering Committee and a member on the FINRA Operations Advisory Council.  She holds a Series 7 and Series 27 License and is also a 2007 graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton.  Kelly resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her family.
