Mr. Kazushige Kamiyama is General Manager for the Americas of the Bank of Japan. This is his first appointment in New York.
Before Mr. Kamiyama came to New York in his present capacity, he was General Manager of Maebashi Branch, Japan (2015-2017).
Mr. Kamiyama served for many key positions in the Bank of Japan (BOJ) including Head of Policy Planning Division, Monetary Affairs Department, Head of Markets Group, Financial Markets Department, and Head of Economic Assessment and Projection Group, Research and Statistics Department since he joined BOJ in 1990.
He graduated with BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo, 1990, and with MSc in Economics for Development, The University of Oxford, 1997. He was also a Professional Fellow/Visiting Fellow, Columbia University in the City of New York, between June 2013 and June 2014.
