Janina Polo is a senior manager in EY’s Banking and Capital Markets Advisory Services practice. She has more than fifteen years of experience in leading various regulatory, business driven and industry-led transformations including benchmark reform regulation and the global transition from interbank offered rates (IBORs) to alternative nearly risk- free rates (alternative RFRs) in key jurisdictions. Janina co-leads EY’s Global IBOR Transition Services, designed to provide enterprise-wide solutions to support market participants with establishment of enterprise-wide programs, assessing the overarching transition risks and designing solutions to mitigate the risks to their organizations across businesses and core functions. Janina led EY’s global team supporting ISDA and other trade associations with publication of the Global Benchmark Transition Report and the Global Benchmark Roadmap. She also represents EY, as a member of the Alternative Reference Rate Committee (“ARRC”).
Janina has led delivery of various projects on other regulatory initiatives including BCBS-IOSCO Uncleared Margin, Dodd-Frank OTC Title VII and Collateral Management Recovery and Resolution Planning.
