Glenn Goucher is President and Chief Clearing Officer of the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC), a position he has held since August 2009. Mr. Goucher is also President of The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS), Canada’s national securities depository, clearing and settlement hub for equity, fixed income and money markets.
Prior to this, Mr. Goucher held several progressively senior positions with Bourse de Montréal including Senior Vice-President, Financial Markets since November 2001. Before joining the Montréal Exchange, Mr. Goucher held positions with a major Canadian Bank in a variety of business development and management roles, and with a Canadian pension plan as a fixed income portfolio manager.
Mr. Goucher holds an MBA, Concentration in Management, from University of New Brunswick as well as a B.Sc. Geological Engineering, Concentration in Mineral Resources from University of New Brunswick.
