Di Bruning is a Director in Barclays Legal Department, leading the Regulatory Implementation team in the US, responsible for performing advisory, project execution and transactional work to formulate and deliver on regulatory, market and structural reform initiatives within Barclays International. Di covers a broad range of matters including Swap Dealer regulations, the cross-border impacts of MiFID II and Brexit, the implementation of Barclays IHC and US Stay rules. Prior to her current role, Di was the senior attorney responsible for legal and regulatory advice and structuring support to the Commodity Business, covering a wide range of matters through the expansion and divestment of that business. Di has held in-house counsel roles in financial institutions in London and New York since 1995. Di began her career in private practice in Sydney, Australia, and is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and The College of Law (Sydney).
