David Richardson, a Managing Director in KPMG’s International Tax practice, specializes in international tax planning with a focus on the asset management industry. David has more 30 years of experience helping clients mitigate U.S. and non-U.S. tax risks, achieve global tax efficiencies, and satisfy international tax compliance and information reporting requirements. His client base includes cross-border funds within all sub-sectors of the industry, multinational fund portfolio companies, international asset management companies, and cross-border traders and investors. Prior to joining KPMG, David practiced law with major international law firms and worked at another Big 4 accounting firm. David holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, a BS from the University of New Orleans, and a CPA certificate. His community service includes board memberships with Settlement Housing Fund, Inc. and Center for Talent Innovation, Inc.
