Robert Andres

Tax and Economic Policy Advisor, U.S. Senate Committee on Finance

Robert Andres is a Tax and Economic Policy Adviser with the Democratic staff on Senate Finance Committee, where he has worked since 2013. In this capacity, he develops federal tax proposals and provides economic analysis, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, business incentives, and economic development. Prior to joining the Committee, Robert spent time working in the state and municipal levels of government. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University.
