Alexander Wilson is Chief of the Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture Unit (“MLAF”) at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. As Chief of MLAF, he supervises the prosecution of money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act violations, and related offenses, as well as criminal violations of U.S. economic sanctions by financial institutions. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2010, Alex was an associate in the Litigation Department at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton and Garrison and clerked for United States District Judge Paul A. Crotty in the Southern District of New York.
