Resolution Authority and Living Wills Committee
SIFMA is a strong supporter of recovery and resolution planning as a key building block in the emerging system of enhanced prudential regulation for systemically important firms.
Work on domestic and cross-border resolution issues under Title II of Dodd-Frank, including the single point of entry strategy from the FDIC, and RRD in Europe. These issues include long term debt requirements to support resolution, bail in requirements, cross border cooperation agreements and efforts to reform the bankruptcy code.
