VOWS
SIFMA is proud to support Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS), an initiative dedicated to honoring former military personnel and employees currently in the National Guard and Reserve by facilitating career and business opportunities in the financial services industry. In 2011, we were honored to have General Stanley McChrystal offer the Securities Industry Institute, the industry’s leading executive education program, opening address, facilitated through our ongoing partnership with VOWS. In his presentation, General McChrystal focused on identifying the key components of successful leadership, drawing upon his own varied experiences in crafting a model for modern leadership and how it can be applied across diverse disciplines and professions.
