• Proxy Working Committee Chaired by: Lawrence Conover, National Financial Services LLC
  The Proxy Subcommittee focuses on a range of industry proxy issues, including the 2010 SEC Concept Release on the U.S. Proxy System, SEC rules and the NYSE Fee Schedule.  Larry is also an active member of SIFMA’s Proxy Working Group and often shares Industry and Regulatory updates with the Board each month from this Group’s efforts.

• Reorganization Working Committee
  Chaired by:  Joseph Porcello, Jefferies & Co., Inc.
  The Reorganization Subcommittee is focused on industry challenges in the processing of Reorganization events, including risk mitigation and operations inefficiencies.  In addition, the committee has started to review the challenges being faced with the industry surrounding worthless securities.

• Dividend Working Committee
  Chaired by:  Daniel Salcido, Credit Agricole
  The Dividend / Tax Subcommittee is focused on industry challenges in the processing of Dividend and Interest distributions, including inefficiencies in stock distributions and splits, cut-offs dates and custody fees. 

• Tax Committee
  Chaired by:  Vincent McNeece, Morgan Stanley
  The Tax Subcommittee is focused on industry challenges in Tax withholding and reporting requirements of Corporate Actions events. Most recently the Committee has been very active in driving our understanding and implementation of the new Canadian Tax withholding requirements.

• Corporate Action Section Liability Working Group
  Chaired by : Steven Dapcic, Pershing LLC
  The Liability Working Group is focusing on best practices for liability on voluntary events and improvements to the DTC Liability Hub.
