Event Overview
The rapid growth of social media channels today presents both opportunities and challenges for broker-dealers and financial advisors for interacting with investors and clients.
At this half-day event, SIFMA convened field experts to present in-depth views of marketing, business, and practitioner experiences with social media to help broker-dealers and asset managers as they explore, expand, and refine their business practices. The event featured CBS Money Watch Editor-at-large Jill Schlesinger, who provided an overview of the valuable opportunity social media presents to the financial industry. Panelists from a variety of global and regional broker-dealers, as well as insurance and asset management firms, and social media providers, discussed their experiences with launching, training, managing, marketing, and using various platforms to interact with financial advisors and clients.
