STP PMO Reports
These reports were created and published under the SIA STP Program Management Office (PMO). These documents are prepared by the PMO and are based on the individual committee work efforts, the committee project plans tracked by the PMO, as well as program structure, milestones, white papers, and other relevant information.

Each of the available documents serves a particular purpose and some contain similar information, at varying levels of detail. This document provides an overview of each of the reports that are posted on the website and the context within which they should be interpreted.

SIA / TBMA Key STP Project Deliverables as of 1/31/04
The SIA and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) have prepared their first joint publication on the topic of STP. This document presents the background and overview of the SIA and TBMA, the STP Program Structure at currently in place at both organizations, the key STP projects with detailed descriptions, project timeline for deliverable dates, and important web links to other source information. The Key STP Projects are presented with an overview of the important components of the project, deliverable target dates, followed by action steps your firm should be looking into further for each project. The document will be maintained jointly by the SIA and TBMA. The document contains many active web links, which can be used to navigate your way through the document, or to access additional source and supporting information. The document must be viewed as a slide show using Microsoft PowerPoint in order to utilize the active web links (MS-PowerPoint 2000 was used to create this document). STP Consolidated Project Plan as of 8/05 and Monthly Milestone Change History as of 3/31/04
The Consolidated Project Plan comprises the individual project plans tracked by the PMO. These include all of the STP committees and the other entities impacting the STP project (DTCC, Omgeo, Asset Managers Forum, and The Bond Market Association). The detailed individual project plans were originally prepared in April 2001, to establish provides the basis of the activities necessary for the industry to move to STP/T+1. As a result of the SIA Board's decision to focus on achieving STP in mid-2004, all of the project plans have been updated since September 2002, and are continually updated as the STP project progresses. The plans will continue to be updated and revised as new activities and tasks are identified. The individual plans detail the activities, tasks, milestones and dependencies identified by each committee or entity.
The SIA STP committees work off of their respective project plans, which are then consolidated into a comprehensive overall plan. The Consolidated Project Plan provides a guide for industry participants to follow in tracking the industry's STP efforts, and is not intended as a firm's internal STP program project plan. The Consolidated Project Plan is prepared based on the industry's input via the STP committees and other entities. Firms can use this Consolidated Project Plan to: 1) identify areas that may need to addressed within their own firms, 2) determine the industry's timing of certain changes, and 3) understand how the industry is anticipating its move toward STP.
Updates: It is important to note that the SIA STP Consolidated Project Plan is updated regularly. It is strongly recommended that interested parties check the SIA website regularly for updates and newer versions.
The Milestone Change History document provides detailed information regarding the Consolidated Project Plan milestones that have changed. These changes include new or deleted milestones, new milestone descriptions, and date changes. The Change History only covers changes that were made to the Consolidated Project Plan since the previous posting. This document should be used in conjunction with the Consolidated Project Plan.

The White Paper List presents all SIA STP white papers that have been published, or are scheduled to be published. If a new or revised white paper is scheduled, it is indicated in the "Upcoming Date for Publishing" column, with the target publication date.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) as of 3/31/04 - pdf 5.0
The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document presents answers to a variety of key questions that have been asked during this project. Most of the FAQs are based on issues that have been logged in the Issues Tracking Database and have been resolved. Once an issue is resolved, it is added to the FAQs, in the appropriate section. FAQs can also be added as a result of common questions received in the STP@sifma.org PMO e-mailbox, or as a result of questions that request further clarification of various white paper contents.
The FAQs are categorized for easier reading and understanding. For example, there are sections that address all aspects of the ITPC Model, matching, code of practice, account linkages and new accounts, among many other categories. The FAQs are updated as needed.
