The SIFMA Diversity Committee’s mission is to assist member firms in developing their diversity initiatives to increase inclusion in the workplace and in their efforts to market to diverse customers.  Our objective is to help shape an industry that is welcoming to all people; where employees are limited only by their own potential; clients’ unique needs are actively served; and shareholders receive value for  their investment.

We hope this site will be instructive for, and useful to, all areas of corporate leadership, senior management, human resources professionals, marketing strategists, and sales forces. It provides critical intelligence along with possible approaches, ideas, case studies, implementation and measurement techniques and lists of contacts and resources in numerous areas.

This site is not meant to be a comprehensive “how-to” on every aspect of diversity and its implementation. Rather, we have endeavored to provide resources that firms will find useful in formulating or refining their own diversity strategies.

SIFMA hopes that its member firms will benefit from a diversity resource site that will enable them to more effectively market their products and services to a diverse market, as well as recruit and retain a diverse workforce.
