US Quarterly Highlights, First Quarter 2016

Long-term securities issuance totaled $1.65 trillion in 1Q’16, a 11.6 percent decrease from $1.48 trillion in 4Q’15 but a 5.4 percent decline year-over-year. All asset classes experienced a decline q-o-q in the first quarter except for Treasuries and agency debentures.
