Urging Congressional Support for Technical Corrections to Dodd-Frank

Summary

Several trade groups, including SIFMA, sent a joint letter to Members of Congress, urging their support for bipartisan legislation recently introduced by Reps. Andy Barr (R-KY), Gary Miller (R-CA), Bill Huizenga (R-MI), and David Scott (D-GA). H.R. 5461.

The legislation includes important technical corrections to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act that strengthen the underlying Act and provide critical clarifications to better oversee our financial system while allowing for economic growth.
