Request a Volunteer for your Class

NEW! – EMentor

A new and exciting virtual way to work with a financial professional to support your SMG students.  Request a monthly email engagement and pose your students' top 5 burning SMG questions on their portfolios, the market or careers in finance.  As of March 14, 2016, you may request an EMentor to work with you until the end of your SMG game session this year.  You are required to moderate the question set and your volunteer's replies.  Volunteers are NOT intended to be in direct contact with your students by email.  Get started here.

Classroom Guest Speaker(s):

An individual or team of volunteers will visit your class or afterschool program and make a financial education related presentation, using the ready-made and “FINRA Reviewed” Invest It Forward™ Volunteer Materials. Register here.

Remote Guest Speaker

For schools in locations where we may have difficulty securing an in-person volunteer visit, SIFMA Foundation supports sessions in a virtual format. This affords your class the benefit of an Invest It Forward volunteer by video link (skype, google chat or webinar). These sessions use the same content, tools and materials as other Invest It Forward classroom speaking opportunities and provide a similar opportunity as an in-person visit for presentation and Q & A.  You must already have adequate technology in class or at school (smart board, wifi, etc).  Register here.

Tools, Topics & Materials

You may choose to use your own firm's financial education related presentations for a classroom, afterschool program, or youth group - Or -  you may choose to use the Invest It Forward™ (FINRA Reviewed) Volunteer Materials:
