Custodian Committee

Custodian Committee

The purpose of the Custodian Committee is to mobilize custodians who are dedicated to working jointly alongside asset manager, brokers, and government entities in order to address industry and regulatory challenges, which impact the financial industry.

The AMF Custodian Committee meets quarterly to discuss operational issues that affect custodians and asset managers. The purpose of these meetings is to determine steps that can be taken to foster industry best practices and standards; and prepare for upcoming operational changes. A sampling of the current topics on the Committee’s agenda include the TMPG fails charge on MBS and Agency Debt, Tri-party Repo Reform/Netting, T+2 and Match-to-Settle.
