The 44th Annual SIFMA Compliance & Legal Society Seminar took place from March 18-21, 2012 in Miami, FL. The event was attended by 1,500 financial industry legal and compliance professionals and featured more than 60 panels and sessions, creating the premier forum to discuss the issues and share expertise and insights into critical topics for varied interests such as the Volcker Rule, swaps and OTC derivatives, handling regulatory investigations, private client compliance issues, and many more. Seminar highlights include presentations by SEC Chairman Mary Shapiro, and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara, as well as many other distinguished speakers.
