Grant Thornton released the Asset Manager’s Guide to SOC I following the SIFMA Asset Management Group’s (AMG) recent update of the recommended baseline areas of scope and control objectives for Asset Manager’s Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 reports. The Asset Manager’s Guide to SOC 1 updates the AMG’s "SAS 70 Guide" published in 2007. SOC 1 reports are designed to improve the quality and consistency of reporting for the industry. Join author Kristina Vieni of Grant Thornton and SIFMA AMG for a discussion on the updated baseline control objectives.

The AMF Member Meeting will feature a session on leadership, team building and challenging conversations for asset management operations professionals. The Meeting will also cover important industry topics, such as the industry move towards a Shorter Settlement Cycle; key findings of the T+2 Working Groups; and what asset managers should be doing to prepare.

The AMF Committees, including Collateral, Operational Risk, Derivatives Operations, and Custodian Committee, will meet in break-out sessions. The AMF Member Meeting is open to SIFMA/AMF members only. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required.
