Q: Does the Association offer membership to individuals?
A: SIFMA's long-term policy is that full and associate membership is available on a corporate level giving all employees of that organization individual access to member benefits.

Q: Does our organization have to be a registered broker/dealer?
A: Membership is open to non-broker/dealers whose business interests are closely tied to the financial markets. This includes law firms, technology venders, government sponsored enterprises, trading platforms, rating agencies, insurers, and exchanges.

Q: How do I know if my firm is already a member of the Association?
A: Visit our member directory for a list of full members. If your firm is an associate member you’ll find it listed here.

Q: How much are membership dues?
A: Effective November 1, 2007, SIFMA operates on a fiscal year that runs from November 1st through October 31st. Dues are not prorated prior to May 1st. After May 1st, dues are prorated per month of membership until the end of the fiscal year.

Member dues are based upon size and market participation.
